Definition of sex
I am 30+ and have a girlfriend who is 16 and she wants to have sex. So far I have told he no but I was wondering if it is legal? Also What is sex defined as in Michigan?

At age 16 she can legally consent to sexual relations with you. You'd better be absolutely sure she is 16. If she lies to you about her age, it is not a defense to a statutory rape (CSC III) charge against you.
Even if she's 16, if you give her any alcohol (or drugs) before sex, you could still be charged with rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
You may also be aware that 16 year old girls who "want to have sex" with 30+ males are not the most emotionally stable people. She (or her parents) could easily change her mind about the consentual nature of the act - especially if she is mentally handicapped. Beware if you are her employer or in a position of authority.
"Sex" in Michigan is any kind of penetration (oral,vaginal or anal); or touching of the breast, buttocks or vagina.
