Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Should a dismissed case be on my record?
Hello & Thanks,
I was arrested several years ago on a felony charge.
At the prelimany hearing the Judge dismissed the charge.
I recently did a background record check for employment and discovered this charge on my record.
Should an arrest without conviction appear on my record?
thanks for reading.

No. You may request the court to order that the improper entry be deleted. However, it will remain on the L.E.I.N which can be accessed only law enforcement officials. You may be a victim of unauthorized use of the L.E.I.N .
