Domestic Violence Case

There has been an incident that has completely turned my life upside down, this incident has been taken to court and I have been misrepresented, my good name has been slandered and I feel it is all due to racism. I need help in determining whether I have a case and what actions need to be taken for justice to prevail.

THE INCIDENT:

March 27, 2006 my girlfriend (at that time) and I got into an altercation inside of my residence in Farmington Hills and the police were called. When the police arrived we were now outside the residence and I was handcuffed and placed in the back of the squad car. I asked one of the officers was I going to be taken to jail and his response was no because there was no proof of domestic violence since she had no bruises or witnesses and my aunt (who we lived with) said that she did not hear or see any argument or abuse. The police entered my residence and began searching my house. During the search they found marijuana and I was told that I would be charged only with marijuana possession.
