Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Domestic Violence 1st offense

Me and my husband we had been having problems for about 2 months and I approched him one morning before he went to work and the situtation got out of hand. I threw a pair of sciccors across the room at his feet and thats when he tried to take control of the sitution. I called 911 to have him removed from the house becuase I was so mad at him. I did have a red mark on my arm from where he grabbed me (no pics were taken) and I had to fill out a police report that I did'nt tell the whole truth because I was so mad at him. After the police handcuffed him I told them I didn't want them to take him but they said they had to and I had to fill out the report. I was so distraught and upset and told them I didn't want to fill it out but said I had to. My husband did not get an attorney and came back to the house to stay, This was a mutual agreement. Ee decided to attend marriage counseling together and we have. We know we both acted wrong and want to move on from this issue but I recieved a subpeona and contacted the procecuting attorney and told her the situation but the state picked up charges. What is my hsuband facing and do I have to a go to the court? The police officer said if I didn't show the chages would be dropped. Please help

Re: Domestic Violence 1st offense

If your husband has an experienced, competent and aggressive attorney, it is possible that this case could be dismissed.
