Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
double jeopardy
How is it that you can be aqqited in criminal court for something and guilty in civil court for the same thing? Isn't that a form of double jeopardy? To me it is so how is that possible?

Re: double jeopardy
Think OJ. They are different court systems, so different rules apply. Double jeopardy only applies to trying a criminal case twice. Visit www.kliszlaw.com for more info. Tim Klisz
