Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
driving under the influence misdemeanor
i was wonder what exactly does this mean. i received a driving under the influence misdemeanor and i have a court date in two weeks. i had to post a bond. do i have a criminal record, i am also worried that i will not be able to cross the border, i am canadian. please help me out and let me know what exactly this means. i am not familiar with american law. thanks

It sounds like you received an OWI operating under the influence. This is an alcohol related charge and may have some Immigration issues. It is a criminal matter and you have to appear in court.
