The laws are always changing. However, the legal advice is not changing. The best legal advice is to hire a good lawyer.

You can read "the laws" at www.michiganlegislature.org ... go to the "MCL Section" field and type in 257.904 That's the section for DWLS. It was last amended in 2004.
