expunge

i have spouse abuse on my record 3 times from 1990 and 1997 last charge was jan 97 got a 160 dollar fine can i still get the last charge from 97 expunge cause i work in the medical field and they past a new law last oct that if you have any kind of abuse you cant work in long term care if it as been less then 10 years and also what is the price for a misamenter to get expunge

Because you have more than one conviction, none of your convictions are eligible to be expunged (set aside).

We get a lot of questions here about setting aside convictions (ie, expungments). Go to the "Search Q&A Database" link, then go to the Michigan criminal law area and search for 'expungment' or 'setting aside a conviction' (without the quote marks). You'll see that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a one-time-only conviction erased. If you have more than one conviction, then none of the convictions can be set aside ... if the judge follows the plain language of the laws.
