Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
expungeing a felony
my boyfriend has two felony's one is a felonious assualt and the other is arson of personal property how do we get them removed from the record

It is not possible to remove 2 Michigan felony convictions from his criminal record.

If you search Lawguru.com's Q&A database (under Michigan criminal law) for "setting aside a conviction" or "expungment" you will see dozens of similar questions and answers.
Michigan allows only a person's "one and only" criminal conviction to be set aside. So, with MORE than 1 conviction, your boyfriend cannot set aside either conviction.
Why isn't HE asking this question?? He's the one who created his prior record, and has to deal with having such a record ... so why do "we" (you two) have to work on removing them from his record??
