Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

fail to register as offender

What can happen if you get picked up in Indiana because you were charged and convicted in 1994 with criminal sexual misconduct in the 3rd degree and failed to register as a sex offender and may be extradited. Also exactly what is criminal sexual misconduct in the 3rd degree.

Re: fail to register as offender

CSC 3rd Degree is a felony ... it involves unlawful sexual penetration. Check out www.eatoncounty.org/prosecutor/define.htm#CSC for more details.

Failing to register as a sex offender is in and of itself a separate crime.
