If there is a warrant out on someone for felonious assault, but they have never been arrested and a couple of years has passed, is the warrant still good? can they still be arrested?

Yes, the warrant is still good. It can be good for many years. If the person named in the warrant waits until he or she is arrested, he or she will likely have a very high bond set once the arraignment on the warrant occurs. If he hires a lawyer and turns himself in the bond will surely be lower.
