Re: felons and employment

Keep looking for jobs, is the best advice I can give.

Jobs are hard to find for many people. But the life history that she created by her thefts has made it more difficult for her to get a job over someone without that kind of untrustworthy background. Imagine an employer's reluctance to hire someone with that background if the job involved access to money or other valuables, etc??

Like the other reply said, she cannot expunge either conviction because expungment is limited to a person's one and only conviction, and she's got two.

There are employment help programs, like "Work First" or other such programs. She should sign up, do everything she's told to do ... and start leading a law-abiding life so she can show employers that she's changed, she's been rehabilitated ... she can be trusted.

Re: felons and employment

She really has no option. She is not eligible to get it expunged because she has more than one conviction. The only thing she might be able to do is try to reopen the case and change her plea. Call me for questions 5862851700
