Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I am on felony probation in michigan for ID theft.. After a year of not getting in trouble I am now charged with uttering and publishing and a Probation Violation. When I wrote the checks I called my PO and told her what I did. I also tried to resolve teh outstanding debt with the bank but coulds not come to a firm payment arrangment. My Probation officer did a new review to give her recimmendation to the judge and she said she is hoping he will give me probation again.. my sentengin guidelines are 0-18 months or 5-24 months (im not really sure how to do them) I think they are more in the relm of 0-18 months per my attorney. My atty will not call me back I think cuz he is court appointed which i think is not fair. Anyway I am now employed and doing well, when I wrote the checks I was 38 weeks pregnant, my mom had just died and I was unemployed. What are the chances I will get probation reinstated and avoid jail time? I have judge miller in Macomb County. I am very scared.

It is common to hear complaints about court appointed attorneys. The system for court appointed attorneys is amongst the worst in our country. It would be in your best interest to hire an attorney that will fight for you. Your attorney can do a full evaluation of your case to determine how to help you stay out of jail
