Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

My fianc�e was a passenger in a car when a car wash was raided based on a tip that drug sales were taking place inside the car wash. As the driver was pulling out, the DPD came up to the car with guns drawn. They pulled my fianc�e and the driver out of the car and inspected the car for drugs. They found a pistol and a rifle in the car, and $4000 on the driver. They found no drugs. They went inside the car wash and found no drugs. They arrested my fianc�e and the driver and charged them with CCW. The police never produced a warrant and it is all on video. My fianc�e has been in trouble before and served his time. He was on probation for a misdemeanor. He works two jobs and doesn't sell drugs and doesn't own any weapons. How can we fight this?

Fight it by retaining the most skilled and experienced criminal defense attorney you can. They will review the tip that the police received to determine if they had probable cause or a valid warrant exception to execute the raid. If the police did not have a valid warrant exception, then the evidence obtained can be suppressed.
