Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Forged Identification
Is there any way one could protect themselves from criminal prosecution when selling forged identification? I've seen people that sell fake drivers licenses with stickers on them that say things to the effect of ''Not a valid state document. For novelty use only.'' Would this protect the seller from laws regarding manufacturing forged identification or not?
