Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I took a gallon of gas from a family farm, and now they are pressing larceny charges against me. I know these people very well and thought we were friends. I made several attemps to pay them for it but could never reach them. I have no pryors and the amount taken is less than $5. In Michigan this is a misdemeanor punishable for 93 days in jail and or $500 fine, what do you think I will get out of this?
