Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Gaming Account Stolen
I Left For training for work and my girlfreind changed her number and left while i was gone. 4 months later im home and discover that she changed the Credit card number off a online gaming acct i own. its Final Fantasy XI online game. She changed the password and i called the company to see what it was. they told my they couldnt verify my identity because the Credit card info was wrong. I cant contact her because her number is changed and she still has some of her stuff here. Can i call the police and file a complaint for criminal theft? if not what are my legal options? the account is in my name and i have all my monthly bank statements showing I was paying for it.
