Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
My girlfriend was accused of shoplifting in Michigan and when the sheriff ran her ID, they found a warrant from Kansas. I paid cash to bail her out on the shoplifting charge, but could not afford the bond on the warrant.
I was told by a bondsman that we need to have the court here in Michigan issue an "extradition bond" before the local bondsmen will deal with it. How do we go about doing that?

She (most probably through her attorney) will have to file a motion in the asylum state (Michigan) to request that she be allowed to post the bond in Michigan. If you need assistance contact me for more information.
