Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Hello, thank you for your help. I was givin a citation for possession of pot yesterday while driving, first offense, and am wondering what I should do when I go the courthouse? I have honestly never had to do anything like this before, I've never even gotten a ticket. I live in Michigan, and have already read as much as I think is helpful (a lot), and now and wondering what I should do going forward. I have ten days according to my ticket. Thank you

The most important thing you can do now is:
a. Realize that you aren't qualified to practice law and
b. Hire an experienced criminal defense lawyer.

If you do not hire an attorney before your arraignment, plead not guilty and then get an attorney immediately.
