Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
gun laws
what happens to seller who sold a handgun used to kill in michigan, the handgun in question was registered to seller and buyer never got proper paperwork for this transaction, this was a tragic accident and the seller had nothing to do with this other than sell the gun.

GET an attorney fast to assert 5th amendment rights (self incrimination). May also be exposed to civil liability (lawsuit) and/or investigative subpoena from the prosecutor's office and/or interrogations from police.
