Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Handgun Arrest

An ignorant friend is a legal resident of Florida and has resided in Mich for the last year.He has changed his Fla residency. There was a traffic altercation between my friend and two people in a car.The two in the car followed my friend to his home, threw an object at him, striking him in the leg,and sped away. My friend followed them, called 911,had their license #,stopped them. They exited the vehicle and made advance to my friend. My friend told them to''stop and put their hands on top of their heads''. He told them to stay put until the Police arrived. My friend had a black shirt on, labeled SWAT on it.He told the police that he had a Florida handgun permit, and had NOT drawn his firearm. The Police immediatly arrested him. My friends vehicle also had a Police Flashlite, Spotlite, Radio /Scanner, and a soft, tactical training vest. The charges are as follows as I know them: Feloneous Assault with an illegally registered handgun.Impersonating a Police Officer.Illegal concealled carry. And probably a few charges that I'm not aware of.

My Question: ''How deep is this Fool in trouble, and what will this cost him financially, along with the sentences if convicted?

Re: Handgun Arrest

This sounds like a real project. Your friend may also be charged with use of a firearm in commission of a felony which carries a MANDATORY 2 year prison sentence to be served consecutively (not concurrently) with any time he would receive for the felonious assault [4 year maximum].

He needs an attorney quickly. My fees are based upon prior criminal history and more information than you have so far provided.

I can be reached @ 248-680-1133 for a no charge consultation. In the meantime tell him to keep the record of calls in his next phone bill.
