Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Hey I got a charge of filing a false police report of a felony I lied about being raped I only have a misdomenor on my record what might they do please help

This is a very serious charge that no judge or prosecutor is going to be happy about. Regardless of whether you have no or very little prior criminal history, they will not be inclined to take it easy on you because of the damage these kinds of cases to do the integrity of the judicial system and that it only makes it harder for legitimate victims to come forward. That is why they prosecute these cases so toughly. You are looking at at least jail time with most judges I would think and even prison possibly with some.
