Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I hired a company to do some work in my home, and a worker lifted an expensive
piece of jewelry from my bedroom. I called the company and they didn't do any-
thing about it. Can I find a lawsuit against that company?

I would make sure the person is convicted criminally first before proceeding. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss in detail. Tim Klisz

A "Can I file a lawsuit?" question shouldn't be answered in the Criminal Law section of LawGuru.com.
You should post that in a 'civil law' section because the civil law attorneys deal with issues like assessing whether there is a valid cause of action for a civil suit. We criminal law attorneys don't have that kind of expertise.
