housing fee for jail
My son was arrested in 2003for B&E.3 counties were involved,2counties did not want to be paid for Jailtime as my son was sent to 20 mos. in prison. He got out on parole, paid everything he owed and is off probation. Now afer 3 Years he got a bill (To pay in 90 days) of over $4000. Is that legal? Does he have to pay it?

If he doesn't pay the state may garnish his tax refund. The state may also sue to collect other money (from his job or bank account), but probably won't.
