Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Hello so my husband was on felony probation since 2015 he got charged with his 2nd offense for violating by not showing up. He has since payed all those fines to go with that case. And he has since been sentanced to 180 days. If i were to appeal hpw likely would he be able to be released for a buyout of the charges? Or would that be a waste

So I'm going to say ZERO chance that he can "buy his way out of jail". You said his fines/costs are already paid up, so he can't play a "Judge, I'm in jail for not paying $xyz fines & costs and you sentenced me to 6 months in jail but I now have the entire $xyz amount" card. Essentially you'd be proposing a bribe, which is not a wise tactic.
