Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
my ex husband wont leave!
ok i let my ex-husband stay at my house for almost a year now and he has no job and no car so only once has he just chipped in on my bills anyways i just had a baby now and the father will want to come over and see her so i told him that he has to leave and now hes saying that by law he lives here and that is absolutly no rite i didnt let him sign anything for the house or anything and so now he says hes coming home tonight because its his house too by law!what should i do?can i kick him out?oh yeah he has four other children that live with me soo i dont know

Unless his name is on the title (or lease), serve him a 30 day notice to vacate and then sue him in District Court. The whole process will take about 45 days and around $65 in court costs.
