Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

My husband has been in lockup for over 24hrs without a hearing or bail set. The police say there are no charges on him as of yet because there is a detective is investigating the case. What can we do? He was arrested for possession of marijuana but a small amount worth $100.

Call the Police department to see if they have processed him and sent him over to the Court for an arraignment. See if also they will release him on an interm bond. Lastly, contact The Court for additional information and status of charge(s)/arraignment.
