Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
My husband has been several receiving phone calls from 610-717-0337. I did a search of this number and it came up with no results. This man calls my husbands cell and tells him that his name and social security has been used in some serious matter and that he needs to return his call and not ignore it before something serious happens or else. He speaks pretty broken english and in the most recent phone call today he stated that he was Officer Alfred Reed. We do not know if this is legit or not. I told my husband not to return his phone call from his cell phone because he is probably trying to confirm that the cell phone is tied to him. I am scared. I do have a feeling that this might be some sort of scam, but would like advice as to what to do. Thank you
