Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Identification

An employee at SOS is going into the database and changnig birthdates, processing them and printing drivers liscenses for sale. If the employee is caught making these, will the potential purchaser get into trouble if there is no proof of purchse? And if so, will they go to the extent to finding this potential purchaser and prosecuting them for such a minor crime?

YES!

Will they (State of Michigan) go to the extent to finding this potential purchaser and prosecuting them for such a minor crime?

YES! It won't be hard to find the customers once they're in the computer if someone's looking.

If the birthdates were changed to buy alcohol (which makes the license void), you could potentially be tagged for MIP, Zero tolerance, false ID, and driving without a license - all at the same time.
