Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
indecent or obscene conduct
i was walking back from the bar and i needed to urinate. I went to a what i thought was a discrete area. A police officer saw me and issued a ticket for ''indecent or obscene conduct'' which requires me to go to court. Does this situation call for me to hire a lawyer, because i heard that if convicted i might be put on the sex offender list.

You won't have to register, but you'll still have this on your record and available to a future employer. Your charge can be reduced or taken under advisement so that no retrievable record is made.
