Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

if you were convicted of a crime whether you did it or not and you find that the social security number that you thought was your legal number and then find out that your social security number you were using was wrong and you convicted under that number is it possible to have that conviction reversed being that the number does not match the person and makes that person is not a real person can you have your conviction overturned being that you were convicted as a person that doesnt exist?

Minor clerical errors can be corrected without overturning a case result, if that's the reason for the error.

However, other than that minor technicality, if the real issue is whether a truly innocent person has been convicted, I'd suggest that that person consult a criminal defense attorney in private practice ... maybe even one who specializes in post-conviction relief, appeals, etc, because there would have to be something filed with the trial court to trigger a hearing that might result in the conviction being overturned.
