Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Inspongement
My boyfriend has a felony for drugs on his record and this is the first time. He has completed his probation period and we have paid all the fees. This is affecting his ability to get a job or get financial aid. Is there a way to get this updated off his record and if so what can we do?

Re: Inspongement
He may have his record expunged 5 years after his date of conviction IF he has only that one crime and no others on his record at the time he applies. Misdemeanors (e.g. drunk driving) are crimes.
