Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I was involved in an assult and battery case.There were witnesess to the person who attacked me. The police took over 2 hrs to show up after 2 phone calls and at the time we lived 500 ft from the station.The officer who took the report we found out was friends with the co-defendant. My statement was written I was told if I did not turn in one I would be arrested. The co-defendants was written by the officer ( her friend) There were false statements in there of things I never said. I was also asked several times to not press charges and make it go away by the reporting officer. My 12 yrs old stepdaughter made a statement that her mother was the aggressor and they wouldnt allow it in court. My " so called attorney" never called the witnesses. I was told I would get a year of non reporting probation being this was my 1st offense.The co-defendant had a record of pleading guilty to domestic violence and MDOP. She was given the same offer but, recieved less probtion time. As well as special treatment in the court. I was also told later by by former attorney that he was in over hius head and thats why he pushed me for making a plea. I have never been in a situation like this and I was backed into a corner. Now I have a year reporting, 80 hrs community service and 3 random drug and alcohol testings monthly for a case that did not concern either. Also photos of proof of me being attacked from behind were never entered.I am at a loss and I have watched some shady things happen. I need to know what I can do. I know there must be something to make things right .There is alot more but, hoping to speak to someone to go further into detail.
