Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

My ex was in jail for Domestic Violence and got out on PR as long as he has no contact with me, but, then we both still contacted each other minimumly. At jury selection he got a deal of a year probation & anger management classes. The sentencing is at the end of August & I have to write my statement letter. I really want him to still get jail time. I know they read the statement letter to him at the sentencing since what I say could actually get him jail time, maybe not. Anyways, my question is he could get jail time if the judge sees fit of everything (mainly my letter I would assume) and he could mention how we spoke to each other when and if that sentencing is given... what would happen to me if the court found out we were speaking to each other even though we werent suppose to??? What kind of trouble could I get into???

The court won't do anything to you - that's the least of your worries. Ask yourself what you hope to gain by openly asking for a jail sentence for your ex. It sure won't be peace of mind once he gets out.
