Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Jewelry was stolen, within 4 days we found out what jewelry store it was taken to. Went to the store to retrieve it, they did not take the sellers (thief) info at all, just gave them cash. They only had one item, the rest was sent or sold off.. Can we sue the jeweler.

If it can be positively identified, I think yes. They have a duty to not buy stolen property. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss in detail. Tim Klisz
