Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
In July of this year (2010) I got a PPO against my current boyfriend. After I got the PPO we reconciled and got back together even though the PPO was in affect. In November of this year, I called the police on him and he got arrested and is now being charged with a ppo violation and a jury trial is set for January. I was wondering if I dropped or canceled the PPO, would this matter be resolved or dropped so we wouldn't have to go as far as going to court?

You have already elected to have the government take over your relationship with your boyfriend. Once the election is made, you cannot call for a do-over.
Remember that the next time you call the cops.
