Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

juvenile with marijuana

Hello,

My nephew is 15 years old and he was caught with 4 bags of marijuana. He was holding it for his friend. This is his second offense. The first time he was caught with one bag and the courts didnt do anything. That was roughly one year ago. He was not arrested nor jailed. However the police officer said the courts will contact him. My question is what will happen to him? What will the judge do to him? Will he get probation or put away in juvie?? Thank you.

Re: juvenile with marijuana

Genrally speaking if this is his second offense there is a good likelihood of juvenile court. Please let me know what the circumstances were surrounding this matter so that I can better answer it. You may call me at my law office for a free consultation.

Sincerely,

Re: juvenile with marijuana

There are MANY variables that would factor into the end result. One of the bigger factors is whether your nephew is represented by an experienced, aggressive and competent lawyer. It is possible that this case might be beaten.
