Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
if the legal age to consent in michigan is 16 can a 21 year old guy get in trouble if his 16 year old girlfriend gets pregnant by him?

Of the girl became pregnant before the age of 16, there will be a problem. If not, likely no legal issue unless the 21 year old is a teacher, authority figure or member of the household.

Sixteen is the age of consent. As long as the sexual relations or pregnancy resulted after that, it shouldn't be a problem. The exception is if he is in a position of authority over her (e.g. teacher), a closely related relative, or she lacks the mental capacity to consent.
However, just because it is legal doesn't necessarily make it right or a good idea. Even if he can't be prosecuted for criminal sexual conduct, there are still other bad consequences that can result.
