If you're driving yes. Assuming you're pulled over for a legitimate reason traffic violation etc. You must have your drivers license on your person. You may be arrested and searched for failure to have your license on your person. The scope of the search may be limited depending on the facts of each case. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

The police cannot search your car simply because you don't have your license on you. They have to have probable cause to search your car.
