Should I take a lie detector? Accused of causing a car accident, but was never a
Accused of causing a car accident while working, but but was never at the scene. I have witnesses that can say where I was, but State police keep accusing me and say they they have a witness that followed my truck to my work place. I am very nervous and have never been involved with police and the State police say that the nervousness makes me seem guilty. Now they say they want me take a lie detector test?? What should I do next?

I would not suggest a polygraph or that you make any statement. If you want to take a private polygraph and submit that to them (assuming you pass) you could do that.
Have someone speak to them on your behalf. Usually, if they need your statement, they do not have enough evidence to proceed.
