Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Limitations on fines.
How long is the limitation of paying back fines in a misdemeanor case? The court case was back in 1994, and then in 1998 I was arrested again for failure to appear, and then resentenced but it was the same sentence that was received previously.

Re: Limitations on fines.
Are you saying that you still have not paid the fines and costs? Your question doesn't state enough facts. If you were ordered to pay fines and costs, the order still stands. If you do not or have not, a bench warrant is probably out for your arrest.
