Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
im listed as the offender in a case but the person caused damage to my property can I still file charges so I can be paid for the damages.

If you are charged with a crime (you said you are listed as the offender) then you need to focus on that first. Whether or not you can be reimbursed for damages to your property depends on the facts. However, step one is dealing with any criminal charges against you.
