Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Don't know what to do
I live in the dorms at my college in Michigan, and a couple weeks back me and some friends were smoking weed in my room. After that we left, and I come back to my room hours later to find a copy of a search warrant in my room- the police had came and searched my room! They found a roach, a pipe, and 2 beers. About three days later, a cop comes to my door and asks me some questions. I don't have a roomate this semester, but last semester I did. My roomate never ''officially'' left the residence halls, so she is still listed as living here. Well, I freaked out when the cop questioned me because he unexpectedly showed up, and said that the weed and pipe they found was my roomates. I know I shouldn't have said that now, but I freaked out. My roomate lives in Utah now, so I'm wondering what will happen? Should I tell them the truth when I go in for my warrant? Will I get in trouble if I do? And if I don't tell them the truth, what will happen.. will they be able/try to find her?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: Don't know what to do
You should NEVER, EVER speak with a copy without having a lawyer present. You should hire a lawyer now since you know that a warrant is coming soon. For additional information go to:
