Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I live in MI. I was convicted of felonies in 2008 and completed my sentence and terms of probation without violation. I know that after 5 years since one was a "specified felony" I have to get approval from the gun board. The issue is, Michigan just dealt away with county gun boards so what steps do I take now?

Now that the gun boards are no more, you have to petition the circuit court in the county you reside in. I would urge you to retain a lawyer that has significant experience in handling such matters. Feel free to contact our firm for more information.
