I live in Michigan and was charged with a marijuana use charge. What, if any are the license sanctions associated with this?

If convicted, it will carry a 30 day license suspension. Of course, there are deals available to people of a certain age and without a drug conviction already to their name.

If convicted you would lose your license for at least 30 days. After that, you could have an additional five month suspension or restricted privileges. There are sentencing options that can prevent this from happening as well as keep the charge off your record if you are eligible for them. There is 7411 sentencing which is available for use or possession charges and can only be used once in a lifetime. There is also sentencing under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYTA) for people who commit non serious offenses between the ages of 17 and 24. You may have a legal defense or there may be Fourth Amendment issues that could be used to suppress the evidence and get the case dismissed. Do not make any decisions on your case without first consulting with a lawyer. Look for a lawyer that primarily practices criminal defense in the county you are facing charges in.
