How long does a court have to prosecute you in a criminal case
what is the time limit to be charged with a crime of larceny of over 100.00, and when is the statused of limitations up on this crime if it happened in 1989

The general statute of limitations on criminal cases is 6 years after the crime occurred. There are exceptions, but none that apply to the crime you mentioned.
