Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Hello. I made a false police report against my boyfriend. He had a warrant issued and they picked him up. When he got picked up I told the cop for a 2nd time that I lyed about the situation. They told me to shut up the cops did. So right now he is being charged with something he didn't do. How can I help him in his situation and get the cops to believe me? What should I expect to happen to me?

We can help him with your false police report.
You would be likely charged with filing a false police report and you would also testify in his hearing that you lied to the police and he is innocent. Visit www.kliszlaw.com if you get charged. Tim Klisz
It's useless to talk to the police. Once a warrant issues, any decision-making passes to the prosecutor.
You are not the first "victim" to bail out of calling the cops when your boyfriend becomes a problem. The prosecutor has had plenty of experience with victim's remorse and is inclined to teach both of you a lesson.
An experienced attorney can help you to resolve both of your problems with the least possible pain.
