Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
A man is not convicted of murder for reason of insanity. years later, can he be retried if new evidence shows that he is not insane?

"if new evidence shows that he is not insane?" Logically the evidence would have to show that he WAS not insane at the time of the murder. Legally, the jury verdict would stand in any event.
