Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Married Inmates
My cousin is incarcerated in Michigan and told me recently of a civil suit he's heard of in which wives of inmates can sue other women who engage in relationships with the incarcerated husband (in essence being set up by the husband) on the basis of tampering with private property. He states this is an old law. Ever heard of that??

How is it that another woman would have a relationship with a guy in prison?
Tampering with private property, and the "property" is a person? No.
