Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Massage Parlors
I have recently notices a number of massage parlors in my area with names suggesting that they are offering sexual services. I am concerned about the moral tone these places set for my community and I am wondering why they do not fall under prostitution statutes or how their business activities get around any applicable statutes.

Re: Massage Parlors
Talk to your local police, sheriff or prosecuting attorney. Many counties and cities have adopted ordinances to regulate massage parlors to prvent just that kind of activity. Ours has (Eaton County).
